Excursiones (pre- y post-congreso): ofrecen la oportunidad de mostrar la riqueza natural y cultural de Guatemala, y algunos de sus países vecinos, pero sobre todo, analizar e intercambiar ideas sobre el avance en acciones propuestas para la integración de diferentes componentes de la gestión del riesgo volcánico, así como fomentar el trabajo colaborativo de los diferentes actores (comunidades, instituciones académicas, gubernamentales y no gubernamentales) que participan en ella. Field trips (pre- and post-conference): excursions provide an opportunity to show the natural and cultural wealth of Guatemala and its neighbours, and to engage in activities aimed at integrating different components of volcanic risk management. We encourage collaborative participation inclusive of different groups spanning communities, academic, governmental and non-governmental institutions.
